TotalEnergies and L’Ivoirienne d’Hévéa (IDH) have signed a partnership to develop a 5 MW solar photovoltaic power plant to supply IDH’s production site with green energy. This project aims to install more than 8,200 photovoltaic panels, reinforcing IDH’s commitment to sustainable development and the energy transition.
Ivoirienne d’Hévéa (IDH), founded in 2004, occupies a leading position in the field of natural rubber in Côte d’Ivoire, with an annual production of more than 30,000 tons intended for the international market. In collaboration with TotalEnergies, IDH is strengthening its strategy to integrate renewable energy solutions into its production process.
“This partnership with TotalEnergies represents a major turning point in our energy approach,” said Eugène KREMIEN, CEO of L’Ivoirienne d’Hévéa. “Together, we are taking a significant step towards a more sustainable future, while improving the efficiency of our operations.”

With its expertise in the field of renewable energies, TotalEnergies will lead the design, development, construction and operation of the solar system.
The solar panels will be installed on the roofs and on a ground space of the new IDH plant. It also provides for a harmonious integration into the environment of L’Ivoirienne d’Hévéa (IDH). Finally, TotalEnergies is committed to monitoring and maintaining the system to guarantee its long-term efficiency.
