Ghana’s Ministry Of Energy Calls For Bids: Supply Of Solar Home Systems For Off-Grid Communities

The Ministry of Energy in Ghana has issued an invitation for sealed bids from qualified bidders to supply, deliver, and install climate-resistant public solar home systems for off-grid communities in the country.

DEADLINE: March 14, 2024, at 10 am (GMT)

Prospective bidders, meeting the eligibility criteria, can obtain additional information and review the bidding document during office hours (9 am to 4 pm GMT) at the provided Address 1.

Bids must be submitted to Address 2 by 10 am on March 14, 2024. Electronic bidding will not be accepted.

It is crucial to adhere to the deadline as late bids will not be considered. The public opening of bids will take place at Address 2 in the presence of designated representatives of the bidders and any interested attendees.

All bids must be accompanied by a bank bid security in the specified amount. The bid security format is detailed in the bidding document.

  • Lot 1: 163 solar off-grid electrification systems for public community energy centers, educational, and health facilities in selected communities in Eastern, Volta, and Oti Regions – Bid security amount of $15,000.00.
  • Lot 2: 218 solar off-grid electrification systems for public community energy centers, educational, and health facilities in selected communities in Bono East, Savannah, and Northern regions.
