Jinko Solar’s Impact on the Future of Solar PV in MENA – Insights from Hossam Hassan & Hassan Yehia

Jinko Solar Showcases Cutting-Edge PV Innovations at WFES 2025, Driving Solar Growth in MENA

Revolutionizing Solar Efficiency with N5 TOPCon Technology

At the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) 2025, Jinko Solar is reinforcing its leadership in N-type solar technology with the launch of the third-generation N5 TOPCon modules. This latest advancement delivers a breakthrough efficiency of nearly 25%, optimizing energy yield and significantly reducing the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE).

“Our new N5 TOPCon modules mark a substantial leap in solar performance, making renewable energy more cost-effective for utility-scale projects, commercial & industrial (C&I) sectors, and residential applications,” said Hossam Hassan, Senior Sales Manager for North Africa.

North Africa’s Solar Market: A Gigawatt-Scale Transformation

The North African solar market is evolving rapidly, transitioning into a gigawatt-scale industry driven by government policies, private sector investments, and rising energy demand. From large-scale utility projects to C&I, residential, and agricultural applications, the region is experiencing unprecedented growth.

Governments are implementing aggressive energy transition strategies, shifting from conventional power to renewables in alignment with global carbon reduction goals. With the largest market share in North Africa, Jinko Solar continues to support this transformation with cutting-edge solar solutions.

Jinko Solar’s Expanding Footprint in the GCC

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region has also seen a solar revolution, with Jinko Solar playing a leading role. In 2024 alone, the company delivered over 600 megawatts of solar solutions across distribution, C&I, and rooftop projects.

“Looking ahead to 2025, we anticipate even stronger momentum, with projected installations exceeding 700 megawatts across rooftops, industrial ground-mounted systems, and distribution networks,” said Hassan Yehia, Sales Manager for GCC.

What Sets Jinko Solar Apart?

Jinko Solar’s market dominance in the GCC—holding over 40-50% market share in multiple countries—stems from its unwavering commitment to reliability, innovation, and top-tier customer support.

As the region accelerates toward a sustainable energy future, Jinko Solar remains at the forefront, delivering high-efficiency, future-ready PV solutions that power the next phase of solar expansion in MENA and beyond.
