Ranked No. 1! JinkoSolar Tops Wood Mackenzie’s “Global Solar Module Manufacturers Ranking 2025”

The internationally renowned energy consultancy firm Wood Mackenzie released its “Global Solar Module Manufacturers Ranking 2025.” As of the first half of 2024, JinkoSolar has emerged as the global leader in solar module manufacturing, thanks to its outstanding technological capabilities and highly efficient module performance. This achievement not only reflects the company’s commitment to high-quality development in module manufacturing but also highlights JinkoSolar’s leadership position in the global photovoltaic industry.

According to the report, 38 solar manufacturers were evaluated based on nine criteria: manufacturing experience, production capacity, vertical integration, capacity utilization, technological maturity, R&D, financial health, adherence to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) standards, and third-party certifications. The results reveal JinkoSolar’s excellent performance across all criteria, showcasing its comprehensive and leading capabilities.

As a technology-driven enterprise, JinkoSolar focuses heavily on R&D and patent development. With its advanced N-type TOPCon technology and globally leading patent portfolio, JinkoSolar’s products are recognized and favored by customers in over 200 countries and regions. By the end of 2024, the company’s cumulative module shipments will exceed 300 GW, maintaining its position as the global leader in module shipments for five consecutive years. Notably, its Tiger Neo N-type TOPCon modules, launched just two years ago, have already achieved shipments of 140 GW. In 2024 alone, Tiger Neo modules reached quarterly sales of over 20 GW, making them the world’s best-selling module type for six consecutive quarters.

Today, JinkoSolar has introduced its revolutionary third-generation N-type TOPCon Tiger Neo 3.0 solar modules, setting new industry benchmarks with higher performance and power. This series offers modules with power outputs up to 670W and the industry’s first 495W residential module, achieving a conversion efficiency of up to 24.8%. Moving forward, leveraging continuous innovation in TOPCon technology and the strong support of new products, JinkoSolar aims to raise industry standards with higher-power products, driving the evolution of the photovoltaic industry.
