TCL Solar has joined forces with UAE-based renewable energy leader Power & Sun Solar Equipments Trading LLC (Powernsun) in a landmark agreement set to supercharge solar adoption across the Middle East, Africa, and Eurasia.
The deal, officially signed at the 2025 Intersolar Europe exhibition in Munich, will see TCL Solar deliver 300 MW of high-efficiency photovoltaic (PV) modules to meet the region’s rapidly growing demand for clean power. As part of the partnership, Power & Sun will act as TCL Solar’s exclusive regional distributor, working to unlock new opportunities in the distributed solar market.
“This partnership marks a pivotal step for TCL Solar’s global journey,” said Wang Wei, General Manager of TCL Solar’s Overseas Business. “By using the Middle East as a launchpad, we are well-positioned to expand into Africa and bring our PV solutions to more emerging economies along the Belt and Road.”
